Our client is a creative agency based in Auckland, specialising in advertising and brand experiences that deliver business results. Their capabilities span brand strategy, creative communications, digital and social, data-driven insights, design, PR, experiential and retail activation.

About the Role

The Full Stack Developer will work within the Digital team to develop web and mobile applications, build interactive interfaces and ensure high quality, error-free work. This is not a design position; background must be primarily in programming using modern web languages, but still have a good understanding of design principals and the ‘creative technology’ process. PLEASE NOTE: This is Full Stack Development with Backend Focus. 

Skills Required: 

• Frontend and backend web development experience across multiple languages for 5+ years
• .NET, Typescript & React are must have skills
• Next.js is a bonus! 
• Define RESTful APIs and data contracts for communication between front-end, services, and third parties
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Build and maintain APIs (REST, sometimes GraphQL or gRPC)
• Develop business logic, data validation, and application workflows
• Interpreting and contributing to creative and technical documentation
• Understanding of different project methodologies such as waterfall and Agile
• Ability to execute a website to creative expectations
• Experience with audio and video
