I started working in recruitment around 6 years ago when I arrived in New Zealand from the UK. Having grown from project recruiter to permanent recruiter, senior recruiter, manager, and now senior consultant for IT recruitment, I have grown and flourished in an industry I love. I like to think I am a people first recruiter. I treat every person I meet as someone I’ve known for years and every company I work for as if they were my own. It’s how I ensure I give myself the best possible chance of representing my clients and candidates. Working for Absolute IT as a market leader nationwide is a natural fit as we use our professional and simple processes to provide great inter-personal relationships for our services.

Currently I represent a broad reach across the Christchurch market, working with startups and large organisations alike. I’m always open to talk to any candidates or clients who have the time to share their stories, needs and requirements with me.

Outside of work, most of the time is taken up with my young family. My nearly 3 year old boy and 3 month old daughter are enough to keep me busy. I love watching films, and if we get half a chance, my wife and I love travelling. I also try to get to the gym a couple of times a week and play 5-a-side football once a week.
