Our client, a leading organization based in Hamilton, is seeking a skilled and experienced Solutions Architect with a specialization in Cloud to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative enterprise-level solutions that align with business objectives and leverage the full potential of cloud technologies.
 
As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Architectural Design: Designing robust, scalable, and sustainable software and integration components that support business functions and promote operational efficiency.
  • Thought Leadership: Providing strategic guidance and innovative solutions that align with the organization’s enterprise architecture patterns.
  • Technical Leadership: Overseeing project teams to ensure effective delivery and adherence to architectural standards.
  • Life Cycle Management: Contributing to all phases of the application life cycle, from initial design to ongoing maintenance.
  • Enterprise Context: Ensuring that solutions align with the broader organizational context and provide valuable insights into architectural design and technical documentation.

 
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
 

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, AWS, or Azure Architect.
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
  • A strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and on-premises integrations.
  • The ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy across business, application, data, and technology layers.
  • A proven track record of defining and enforcing architectural standards, best practices, and policies.
